Firings and Cars in the DA's Office

Another firing in the DA's office.   This time in the Homicide Bureau.

Has Appeals Bureau Chief Mike Green, who's collecting the pay of appeals chief, but says he's not doing the work, turned in the County car he had as DA?

Sources in the Hall of Justice say, "Not yet."

Maybe another perk of office for a job you're not doing.

Update: A commenter tells us the car was turned in.

Allan, Thanks for the info.

We don't think anyone has a handle on redistricting yet.

Yes, Green has turned in his SUV because Doorley is driving it.

4:13pm, did you consider that maybe they're just a 1 car family now?

The firings will continue until moral improves! Or until everyone likes me! And tells me I'm pretty. Why didn't she fire Perry after that sorry sentencing?

Cars are the least of it. The Green story is same as the John Edwards story, minus the love child, as far as I know.

This gave me a good laugh. Don't go too hard on Perry... He gets all the rejects in his bureau so he has his hands full babysitting. He has the drunken son of a judge, the live-in paramour of another bureau chief and some other young children to keep watch over.

Are you implying Green and Doorely have more than just a business relationship? That is something I have always thought but it's never been said or there has never been proof. Do you know something more than us?

So rejects get to stay in that office and proven experienced trial attorneys get fired because of politics? The appeals position never had an assigned car in the past, probably just parking and a phone.

Anonymous from 8:11 on Jan 13... Who is the Judge's drunk son and who is the underling sleeping with the bureau chief that slide by with jobs after the political purge? That doesn't seem like appropriate office behavior. A drunk in the DWI bureau? Speaking of, did anyone see the other posting about a DA employee with a DWI. Who is THAT and how is that person still employed? This is Sandy's new team, really?

Add in to that mix sleeping with interns (judges son)... Direct violation of office policy. I didn't leave that comment but I know exactly who the commenter is talking about. If you leave me an email address I'll write back to you with names.
