The ASCENSION

What does it look like when the local press is really, really, in the tank for a politician?   Something like this:

"DUFFY ASCENDS TO STATEWIDE STAGE"
--   Democrat and Chronicle lead headline today.

All they left out was

"[he] ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of the Father:

And he shall come again, with glory, to judge both the quick and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end."

Now we can look for the Resurrection of the dead:   And the Life of the world to come.   Amen.
