Mustard Street was very saddened to hear about the loss of Ed Marianetti, whose courageous battle with cancer came to an end this morning.
Mr. Marianetti’s public service career included being the former Superintendent of Highways for the Town of Ogden, Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of Greece and Executive Director for the Monroe County Water Authority. His knowledge and experience in the field of “Public Works” was unquestionable.
More importantly, Mr. Marianetti was a Great Man. In the sometimes harsh and crass world of government/politics, he was a compassionate and understanding leader. Ed always had the ability to make you feel comfortable talking with him.
His honesty and candor were some of his greatest attributes, earning both praise and respect from Republicans and Democrats alike.
